#Sunday #Roundup of #Books #Week #41!!

Welcome to the #SundayRoundup #41!!
Happy Sunday!

On the homefront:
Things are going well. I have had my first experience with bringing my daughter to a university that she is interested in attending. It was the only one that was out of state and 3 hours away which wasn't that bad. We go in November to her second choice of schools. Hoping that it goes well and it is in our home state so it should not be bad money wise. My daughter has also been much more proactive on learning to drive and drove the three hours home on the highway for the first time. Not much traffic and we have been practicing with the roads around our house for weeks. It was time to branch off and I got a great big break in driving!

Things I know:
I am tired.

School Front:
Things are looking good and I am preparing for midterms so if I comment late that is why. Tuesday I will be blog stalking everyone.  =)
Around the Blogosphere:
Some posts I read this week that I thought were cool:

Over at Musing of a Literary Wanderer, I found a cool post about TBR Expectations.

Over at Angel's Guilty Pleasure, I found Weekly Book Releases!

Over at Read All Things, I found Mini Reviews: Psycho & The Snowman!

I loved this post over at Beware of the Reader this week (Adored Really!) - Her Top Hyped Book Disappointments! I think we all can relate to this happening to us!

  1. Cute pups! All the college choice stuff looks very time consuming and stressful! Only one person in my year at school went to a college other than the local one!

  2. I remember looking at colleges! I wanted to be far enough away that I had to live there but not to far away that I couldn't drive home in a couple hours if I needed to. Good luck to your daughter in her choice!

    Thanks for the shout-out!

  5. College visits, how fun! My daughter ended up going to Syracuse, which was 5 hours away, but also had tricky weather. I was lucky, my aunt and her family lived near the university. So, she was not alone. Good luck with your midterms. I know you will do amazing!

  6. I am sorry to hear that you are tired Mary! On another note...you chose very well! This book was on my TBR for ages so I will dive in next week once I am finished with A Very large Expanse of Sea! THANK YOU!!!!! And about driving ....my kids still need to learn and I dread that day. Better have my hubs teaching them LOL. I hope next week will see you less tired <3

  7. Being tired can be a permanent state...or it feels like it.

I hope you find a college not too far away. Not seeing the kids regularly can be difficult.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

I feel tired too and I am sorry to hear I am not the only one! Today I relaxed with a bubble bath and a book. I hope you will find a way to relax too and that the next week will be less tiring!
