I have been everything from a full-time mom, full-time worker, part-time, weekend worker, full-time student etc. I went back to school for my LPN back in 2012 and have been nursing every since. I worked various nursing homes in various areas around Northeast PA. I am originally from New Jersey and it is always in my heart (I'm a Jersey Girl).
I married the love of my life in 2000 and we have two daughters. We have resided in PA ever since 9/11. We lived right across from the Twin Towers coming down and well, didn't want to stay after that. Both my parents passed away in 2005 after battling cancer (both of them) and I recently lost my sister to suicide. I am one of four children.
I love reading, blogging and taking care of other people. In my spare time (when I can find any) you will find me in my bed reading or if it's nice - outside reading. I have a minor in cooking and everyone seems to enjoy what I make. I have two dogs, four guinea pigs and lots of fish!
I recently started my journey back to school for my RN-BSN. I realized after years of training others to do my job, I can do it better than them. I also wanted to up my experience and be able to do more for my patients. I will have more doors open to me with my BSN. I feel like I was made to be a NURSE!
