Welcome to the #SundayRoundup #41!!
Happy Sunday!
On the homefront:
Things are going well. I have had my first experience with bringing my daughter to a university that she is interested in attending. It was the only one that was out of state and 3 hours away which wasn't that bad. We go in November to her second choice of schools. Hoping that it goes well and it is in our home state so it should not be bad money wise. My daughter has also been much more proactive on learning to drive and drove the three hours home on the highway for the first time. Not much traffic and we have been practicing with the roads around our house for weeks. It was time to branch off and I got a great big break in driving!
Things I know:
I am tired.
School Front:
Things are looking good and I am preparing for midterms so if I comment late that is why. Tuesday I will be blog stalking everyone. =)Blog:

Song of the Week:
Cute pups! All the college choice stuff looks very time consuming and stressful! Only one person in my year at school went to a college other than the local one!
ReplyDeleteI remember looking at colleges! I wanted to be far enough away that I had to live there but not to far away that I couldn't drive home in a couple hours if I needed to. Good luck to your daughter in her choice!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out!
I hope that your daughter's choices work out for the best for all of you. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the college selection is on its way - and well done to your daughter for stepping up and spelling you with the driving. Love the pics! Have a lovely week, Mary:)
ReplyDeleteCollege visits, how fun! My daughter ended up going to Syracuse, which was 5 hours away, but also had tricky weather. I was lucky, my aunt and her family lived near the university. So, she was not alone. Good luck with your midterms. I know you will do amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that you are tired Mary! On another note...you chose very well! This book was on my TBR for ages so I will dive in next week once I am finished with A Very large Expanse of Sea! THANK YOU!!!!! And about driving ....my kids still need to learn and I dread that day. Better have my hubs teaching them LOL. I hope next week will see you less tired <3
ReplyDeleteBeing tired can be a permanent state...or it feels like it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you find a college not too far away. Not seeing the kids regularly can be difficult.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
Your pups are adorable and I hope your daughter enjoyed checking out the university that she might go to!
ReplyDeleteI feel tired too and I am sorry to hear I am not the only one! Today I relaxed with a bubble bath and a book. I hope you will find a way to relax too and that the next week will be less tiring!
I love the photos, especially the dogs! I’m glad the college visit went well. Thanks for giving my post a shout out. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with your university travels! A fun and stressful time, I'm sure. Love the look of Seafire and Bring Me Back.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the university selection. I am glad that your daughter enjoyed that university though :)
ReplyDeleteYou are reading some good books. I hope you have a better next week.
Lily and Molly are so adorable. Sounds like you had a great week!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of Lily and Molly! I'm like you, not getting back until Tuesday with commenting. I've got SeaFire at home, need to get to it soon. I'm tired all the time it seems these days. Oh well. Hope you have a good week coming up!
