Welcome to the #SundayRoundup #43!!
Happy Sunday!
On the homefront:
Not an easy week. I made some big mistakes with some simple things. Plus I am extremely angry at my Nurtirion teacher. Two weeks in a row he has been missing from class. WTF is that? Like really? REALLY? The big mistake I made is me and another student always do our homework and talk between our two classes (we have a 3 hour gap between them and when this jerk missed the class again I called her and told her not to come - BIG MISTAKE, we could have done our homework, went to lunch and got a pass from our tutor session that we need for another class instead of wasting our day. Oh well, live and learn.
Things I know:
Rain jacket. - They are worth their weight in gold.
School Front:
Got a 100 on my mid-term so that helped with that 88 at the beginning of classes boost me up. Got a 96 on my mid-term for another class so all is awesome there. Still haven't got my nutrition mid-term (our teacher not being there...).

Books/Audiobooks I'm Reading:
Audiobooks/Books I finished:
If you haven't read Sadie - Please do. It was an amazingly written, well developed, heartwrenching story of one girl's love of her sister.
Bookstagram:
I am giving away a copy of Throne of Glass on Instagram if you are interested!!
Song of the Week:
Sorry about your class. The only time I hate when the professor wasn't in was when it was the first class since my classes started early. I had a mall by my college so I would go and hang there until the next class. Mistakes happen, it's how we grown and learn.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100! :)
I hope you have a fantastic week, Mary! Happy Reading!
I really want to read The Sea Witch.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your results! Can you report the no-show?
Well Mary I can understand why you are annoyed but anyway congrats on your 100! That's just incredible! And what's with rain jackets? Do you need them so badly right now? I mean how is the weather? Because we are still waiting for the rain here and that's totally unusual! have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry school was frustrating this week! I hope next week is better.
ReplyDeleteSchool...That is so wrong about the teacher not showing. I wonder if he gets paid anyway? You do have some great looking books!

Sadie was an incredible book. Really dark, but the story was so well done. Awesome job on the midterms! And, don't you love how professors don't show up for class?
ReplyDeleteWasn't the best week huh, definitely hope it gets better. Nice roundup.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your class , hope it will get better
ReplyDeleteAww sorry to hear about the teacher, but congrats on the grade!
ReplyDeleteI've heard really great things about Sadie.
Comfortably Numb- love it!
Congrats on your midterm. I remember driving before daylight to make a class and then the teacher wasn't there. Happened often and such a waste of time. Nice book haul. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
It's so hard when classes are frustrating! Great grade, though. :)
ReplyDeleteIrresponsible teachers infuriate me. I had a professor who rarely showed up to my honors project meetings. During my project defense, he told the panel that I didn’t try hard enough to meet with him. Why did I have to try “hard”? Why couldn’t he just come to our meetings? I’d never been so angry in my life.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Oh, it is hard enough to prepare for class...and then when the teacher doesn't show, you feel betrayed.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
That's a bummer about class but congrats on your grade. I need to read Sea Witch still. It has a great cover!
ReplyDeleteSorry school was so frustrating but you are getting some great grades! Thanksgiving should give you a holiday break before finals, right?
ReplyDeleteMy rain jackets are all from Lands End. They also make great waterproof shoes.
Enjoy your books this week! Anne - Books of My Heart
