#SundayRoundup of #Books #Week #26!!!

Hello!!!
&
Welcome to the #SundayRoundup #26

On the homefront:
It has been a decent week. I have some family staying with me for the weekend. They are staying till Monday which is nice. As it is always nice to have my family around. It does cuts into my studying time but they are well worth it. My brother is away with his girlfriend in Alaska for 6 weeks and I really miss him. Today marks 13 years since my mom passed away and altho it has gotten easier, I still miss her like crazy.

Things I know:
Be careful what you wish for - you just might get it! =)

School Front:
Doing great in all my classes. I am losing my A and trading it for a B for one of my classes. I am ok with getting a B, but of course, I want an A. I have been trying REALLY, REALLY hard to keep it at an A to get on the Dean's List for this semester! Wish me luck! Ironically, it isn't Math! ;)

Blog:
I am still hoping to get the blog design redone with changing the header and timestamp on it. It's on that list of things to do. I joined The Candid Cover's Reading Challenge - Check it out - HERE. I also updated my 2018 Audiobook Challenge hosting by Caffeinated Reviewer and Hot Listens - Check it out - HERE. I got a review done this week too! Go me!

As you know - Each week I take part in

  6. Those are some interesting books in your haul. I hope you enjoy them. Good luck on the studying. I love having some of my family come. It means I get to cook all kinds of good things. Plus my family are "helpers" When my brother comes, we do techy stuff like try different channels to try to speed up the Internet, find cheaper phone plans. He usually does something with my car too like take it for an oil change or something. And we talk investments, insurance, retirement money etc. Anne - Books of My Heart

  8. Well, my mom always said "Cs get Degrees." And a B is totally a good grade! I know how difficult it can be to study when you have family around. Have a good week, and happy reading! :)

  10. I just stayed home for the 4th but I could hear fireworks outside my house. There's a mall about 5 miles away so I suspect they were the ones that had the fireworks. It's been really hot here in SoCal so I don't want to leave my house at all.

Best of luck with your classes! It's been ages since I was in school!

  13. Congrats on your study! I'm sure with all your efforts you will keep that A. I'm very sorry to hear about your Mum, good you've got your brother so you guys can lean on each other. I reckon you should tag along in their next couples holiday.

Enjoy your family whilst they're there 😁

    1. LOL, I don't want to do that but I do want to go to Alaska. I have mentioned that if they keep going - I will have to tag along one day. They are receptive to the idea so that is good.

  14. Sounds like a nice week! I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My husband lost his parents 10 years ago this October and while it's easier to talk about them than it was there's very much a bittersweet feel sometimes. Good luck keeping the A! Have a great week!
