#Sunday #Roundup of #Books #Week #59!!

Welcome to the Sunday Roundup #59!!

Happy Sunday!

On the homefront:

Ahhh, another week. I relaxed a little too much this week. I had the day off of school on Wednesday and cooked some homemade cream of turkey soup. I just felt like cooking for them. It has been semi-quite here and I like it. The theme this week really was just relaxing. Which could be good and bad. I have to get my butt more in gear. I have been listening to some modern-day philosophers (Hans-Hermann Hoppe and a well known conservative Ben Shapiro) these guys are a bit hard to take and I am unsure how I started on this path. I think it had something to do with my Ethics professor (shrugs shoulders). I am very tired lately and need to get some serious sleep.

Things I know:

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.”

School Front:

Well, you know how I had that day off on Wednesday? Well, it made me a bit lazy. I didn't study as much for my test - which, I am not sure what I got on it yet. But, I know I didn't do good. I fell out of the 120 hours of studying but I have to jump back into it. I have two big tests coming in the next two weeks. Ughh. I am in the '90s with both of my hard classes and I am hoping I can keep it there for Chemistry. I am trying but unsure if I can. It's just that hard for me.

  4. My week was good. My husband travels, so he is gone from Monday to Thursday. Because flights were canceled he worked from home. It was so nice to have him around. Well, you have got this. You can do this. Focus on your goal and reach for it. I find when I make something fun, not only does it go faster, but I tend to learn more also. Wishing you lots of luck. quilting dash lady at comcast dot net

  5. A relaxing week is always a good thing and you've been killing it at school for awhile though I can understand that it's hard not to revel a little to much in the relaxation. I know you'll get back into it! Good luck in chemistry. That was my nemesis in college. I was so glad I only had to take one class. Have a great week!

  8. I know what you are saying about those days off. Sometimes I lose my energy and it takes pushing myself to get my mojo back. I'm getting ready to start the Murderbot series. And I just finished Blackwell and getting ready to start Out Of The Darkness.

  11. I love that Eagles song. A few years ago I visited Winslow, Arizona, and thought of this song.

I actually made some lentil soup today, which I haven't had for many years. Back in the days when I listened to Eagles music. LOL.

Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

  15. Cream of turkey soup sounds divine. It’s chilly here this morning and soup will really hit the spot. :) Good luck with the studying. With grades in the 90’s it sure is paying off! Great song by The Eagles.

  17. First thank you for mentioning my post! Second I think you are entitled to be a little bit lazy Mary! You work so hard all the time! Third I so loved your quote that I just used it in my story of the day on IG (giving you and Kahlil credit LOL). I hope this week (yes yes because I am catching up on a Wednesday because ....crazy week!) will feel more productive for you if that's what you need (even though I think relaxing should do you good ;-))
