Book Description:
DEMETRIUS—He’s the hulking, brooding warrior his fellow Guardians avoid. Too dark. Too damaged. And given his heritage, he knows it’s best to keep everyone at arm’s length.

Isadora is missing. The words pound through his head like a frantic drumbeat. For her own protection, Demetrius did all he could to avoid the fragile princess, his soul mate. And now she’s gone—kidnapped. To get her back, he’ll have to go to the black place in his soul he’s always shunned.
As daemons ravage the human realm and his loyalty to the Guardians is put to the ultimate test, Demetrius realizes that Isadora is stronger than anyone thought. And finally letting her into his heart may be the only way to save them both.

My Opinion:
Loved it! By far the best book yet. I loved how Elisabeth took a tough warrior like Demetrius, and a demur Isadora, and wove their love story together. Amazing. This author is so amazing. These books do not disappoint you in anyway. Isadora is a princess and Demetrius feels he is not worthy of her. Isadora seems to be very weak, but, as the book goes on you will find she is strong, she just needed to prove it to herself.

Demetrius is so strong willed and against feeling anything and finally he can't help his love for Isadora. This book is filled with passion, intrigue and suspense. This book is so well written. The action, the adventure, and the tortured soul that Demetrius is, it's amazing. He didn't feel he could ever be worthy of Isadora but, he can't help his attraction to her. Start this series, you just can't help but want to read more. Read these! Read these! Read these! You will not be disappointed in them. They keep you hooked the whole way through.

I give this book 5 of 5 stars!

  2. Great review. I have only read 2 books in this series. Book 1 I had a hard time connecting with characters. I like book 5 better but did not have a connection with hero/heroine as a couple. Like them individually. Have yet to co to continue with the series. Might have to see if I would like this one.

    1. I am sorry to hear you didn't like the 5 one. I have loved them all and omg nothing got done when I was reading this series. I was invested in all of them. I can't gush over them enough to do the author any justice.

    1. I hope you started at the first it's just better that way. The author gives you a background for each upcoming book that leaves you wanting to read the next. The only one I was not as crazy about was book two but that was because I wanted to hear Demetrius story. The author did a great job with him in book 1 that I just couldn't WAIT for book 3. Enjoy the series!
