With the power out most of the week, and not looking that good that it will be on soon. I am limited to reading the good old fashion books...You know...those ones where you turn the pages... =)
That's my week in books. How has your week treated you?
Happy Reading!
I tried a few David Moody books years back but he wasn't really to my taste. I hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteHe isn't really my taste either. I have read Hater and it was ok but I will finish his 3 book series just to be done.
DeleteI am curious about The Old Orchard. Enjoy your books, and thanks for sharing. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in. Yes, it looks like it's going to be good!
DeleteGlad you had a great week! I think Awakened looks really good... and Three Dark crowns! Ooh I liked that one. I'll have to check your review of People Like Us too, since I just finished it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Yes, I just got pre approved so I get the ARC!! YAY!
DeleteCONGRATS on going home!! Also for your wins-I won 3 contests this week myself!!
ReplyDeletehttps://justmeandmyblogreviews.blogspot.com/2018/03/stacking-shelves_10.html
I see that! Congrats on your wins. I just did some more entries into some goodreads YA giveaways. Hopefully, I will win some.
DeleteI'm glad you are back home! Such a power shortage must have been difficult! I recently purchased the e-book of Three Dark Crowns! I hope you're enjoying it! Have a wonderful week and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteYes, thank you! Back to reading in abundance! =)
DeleteI hope you get power restored soon. It must feel good to be home though.
ReplyDeleteIt came back Friday a week after it when out. We came home yesterday. I am glad to be back but all those things you put on hold, now need to be done. Not to mention all the food that we had to throw out.
DeleteI hope you are enjoying Three Dark Crowns. It is much slower paced, but the sequel really pulls it together ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, since it is a series, I hope it gives me all the background for the next in line. Thanks for the warning.
DeleteI am so sorry about your problems with power. That can be frustrating. At least you are fully prepared with books!
ReplyDeleteYes, well back home now and thank you.
DeleteHaving no power is the worst, but at least you got some good old fashioned reading done. I hope you get your power back soon and yay for finally being home! I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on The Replacement. I read it a long time ago and thought it was okay. Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is the worst. But, it's back on now and I am back home so that is lovely!
DeleteIt looks like you have had a great week of reading, and sorry to hear the power has been out, hopefully it hasn't gotten too cold. But I do love old fashion printed books.
ReplyDeleteIt is back on and I am back home and the power is on. I hope it stays that way.
DeleteI liked Lady Midnight and just checked out People Like Us from the library. Nothing like a good ole fashioned book :)
ReplyDeleteNothing like it! I will try to finish that this week - hopefully. =)
DeletePeople Like Us seems to be trending now! :D
ReplyDeleteCool, you like audiobooks too!
I love them. Yes, try it if you like Mean Girls.
DeleteYou sound like you’ve had a great week. Enjoy the new books and the week ahead!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was terrible. But, back home now so it's all good. Thank you and you too!
DeleteI'm glad you have had such a great reading week and won TWO books, given you were coping with no power! I like the look of The Rise of Dragons and have a great week, now you're back home:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I am hoping this week goes smoothly!
DeleteI hope your power gets back on soon. That's nice you still got to read some books this week and won two books! I hope you'll have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt's on and I am home thank goodness! =0
DeleteI love the TDC series. I hope you are enjoying the book. I just read your review for People Like Us and I am still laughing -- coffee.
ReplyDeleteSo far I like it, I am not in it that far tho. LOL, yes - coffee!
DeleteI am glad to hear that you are home again. I hope you get your power back on soon. Congrats on the books wins! That's awesome. Have a great week and enjoy your new books :)
ReplyDeleteThanks and I am happy to be home! =)
DeleteThe title and cover for Dog Blood has me curious. Looks like some fun new reads for you. And glad to hear you had a great week:)
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
I am going to read the series but I wasn't crazy over the first - Hater.
Delete*sees a book with dragons and gets distracted looking it up*
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your new books! :)
LOL, I like Dragon books also. I hope to read it soon.
DeleteYay for a fabulous week! Congrats on the book wins. Love winning books!! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes, me too. You too!
DeleteCongrats on your winnings! Those are always fun :) I've seen a lot of good things about the Kendare Blake series but haven't read it yet. I'm curious to see what you think of it too :) Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do like winning. When the lights came back on - I entered some more! =)
DeleteWow that sucks about the power being out for you most of the week! My kindle will last a long time on a charge, but still! I need stronger glasses for reading regular books. Yay for book wins! Happy reading! :)
ReplyDeleteI am glad they are back. We lost a lot of our food tho. I am so sick of winter!!
DeleteOoooh! Rise of the Dragons has such a nice cover! And I'm super interested to see what you thought of The Replacement!
ReplyDeleteI hope to review that one soon.
DeleteThere's a few books on your list that have been on my TBR for a long while, I just need to read them, but never seem to be in the mood. I'm kind of over any Cassandra Clare books at this point. The first three mortal instrument books were my absolute favorite forever, but now she has so many and they all seem to be the same to me.
ReplyDeleteAnyway!
Looks like you got a bit done this week.
Here's our weekly wrap up: http://jennreneeread.blogspot.com/2018/03/weekly-wrap-up-march-4th-march-10th.html
This is the first Cassandra Clare book I have read..So, for me it is new. The writing is amazing tho. I have a lot of the feels with this audiobook. I love it.
DeleteYay for being home! The book cover for The Old Orchard is so pretty - congrats on your winnings!
ReplyDeleteThanks and happy to be home!
DeleteCan't wait to read your review on Welcome to Moonlight Harbor. I am still reading The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed it, if that helps. =)
DeleteCongratulations on the books you won!
ReplyDeleteI checked your review for Tara Leigh's Rock King - so glad to hear you loved it. I have had it on my radar since I first saw the cover (yeah, I'm cheap!)
Good luck for your BSN! Really crossing my fingers for you!
Thank you! I will still do reviews maybe not as many but still have some past ones to catch up on and will be running the blog. But, my main concentration will be school of course. I hope your exams go well! Yes, it was a great book!
DeleteThe Old Orchard sounds good. Waiting on your review...
ReplyDeleteI hope to read that one soon!
DeleteYay for being back home! Congrats on your book wins (I apparently won a copy of The Old Orchard last week, which I had to go check because the cover caught my eye, again.) Hope you have a wonderful week. - Katie
ReplyDeleteAwesome, I look forward to your review of it! See if we both like it. =)
DeleteWow, your haul looks impressive :) Congratulations on winning books. It is always a great feeling, isn't it? :P I am curious about The Old Orchard. The Cover is so pretty.

ReplyDeleteIt is back thank goodness. Just have to catch up and start my normal routine again.
DeleteWelcome back home! Goodluck withthe #TakeControlTBR2018 reading challenge! How did you like the Replacements?
ReplyDeleteYou too! I liked it but not a favorite.
DeleteYou're a lucky one, winning two books in a row :) Rise of the Dragons must be fun, I can't resist to read anything with dragons in it... I can't wait to read your review of The Replacement (what an ingenious cover). I'm a new follower btw. Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteRonnie @ Paradise Found
Thanks for the follow and returned the favor. I love reading about dragons and angels those are my two favorite paranormal books. I will try to get it done this week now that the power is back and I am back home! =)
DeleteYay! So happy to hear you’re back at home! Love the cover of The Old Orchard - just beautiful. I’ve heard awesome things about Three Dark Crowns - I hope you’re enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI love it too. Good, I have been hearing mixed reviews on it. I so far like it but I am not too far in. I am kinda binge watching Downton Abbey...So may reading is not up to par. =(
DeleteThanks for stopping by my blog this week. Looks like you have a great variety of books there! A few that have caught my eye. :) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThank you - you also!
DeleteYay! glad you're home!
ReplyDeleteI've listened to book one in the Cassandra Clare Infernal Devices series. It was fun. :)
Hope you enjoy your new books!
Thank you I am glad I am home also. Yes, Lady Midnight. It pulls at your emotions!

ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to read the one with the three crowns. (Keep forgetting its name and I don't want to scroll that far up again.) Eager to see what you think of it!
ReplyDeleteRise of the Dragon looks good. I'll have to look into that. :)
