ReplyDeleteI have a book called Superpig by the late British comedian & writer/presenter William Rushton. I reach for it any time I'm feeling a bit down. In the book, Rushton presents, with humour, a gentleman's guide to everyday survival.
ReplyDeleteI can't say, I've read a lot of books that were good but to pick a favorite is like picking your favorite child. You just don't do that :-)

ReplyDeleteI've got a lot of favorites. I'd say anything by Ilona Andrews and Patricia Briggs. A few new to me favorites that I've read this year are: The Spider (Elemental Assassin, #10) by Jennifer Estep (New Series) & Masques (Aralorn, #1) by Patricia Briggs (New Series).

Pride and Prejudice is my all time favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe Lord of the Rings trilogy is probably my favorite fantasy read ever. The Shining by Stephen King for horror. I'm loving The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey from the Science Fiction genre right now. A Place Without You by Jewel E Ann, an awesome romance novel by a truly talented romance author that I recently discovered.

ReplyDeleteOh, there are so many books that lie within so many genres that I refuse to pick. The Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, the Shakespeare plays, To Kill a Mockingbird, etc. are safe to say some of my favorites.
