Welcome to the Sunday Roundup #68!!
On the homefront:
Spent a lot of time with the family and didn't really get much else done. I didn't get to read much (and that is ok). I did catch up on Days of Our Lives and I am super happy about that. We are also getting a place near us for my Aunt to live and that has taken up a bunch of time. We are getting the home inspector over there this week and the closing will be at the end of May. We are hoping to have her in there by July as there is some work that needs to be done to the place before she moves in i.e. painting, cleaning, new rugs, etc.
Things I know:
Vacations go way to fast.
I love shortbread cookies.
I go back for Semester 4 on Tuesday! Spring Break is OVER!!
Blog:
Working on my CWW posts and a few reviews. I am trying to work on all the books I read this year to be reviewed. I also did a lot of hopping but still have a few to more people to hop to today and tomorrow. As I said, this semester will not be as intense so I shouldn't have to wait that long to post back on blogs - YAY!
Around the Blogosphere:

Song of the Week:
Having your aunt closer will be nice for you-good luck with getting the house ready!
ReplyDeleteYay for Bookcon! How fun. And nice that you'll have your aunt closer. That kind of thing can really make a difference in someone's life- having family near.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Twiter shares this week, BTW. You're awesome!
Love that Eddie Rabbitt song :):)
I've been wanting to read some Sheila Roberts. Enjoy your books and the new week.
ReplyDeleteI also love Days of Our Lives, even though I get frustrated by some of the characters. LOL. So glad Nicole is back!
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Can you believe I've never been to a book event?! Unbelievable, right?! I hope you're planning on blogging about BookCon, Mary. I want to live vicariously through my fellow book bloggers. Lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat, been a quiet April. I think that things are going to get better for you too. Awesome round up.
ReplyDeleteWeather is getting better too.
I am with you Mary on holiday going way too fast!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, have fun at Bookcon! Seeing fall foliage is one of my favorite things, enjoy that mini-trip, too!
ReplyDeleteI hope going back to classes is painless for you, and you get back into the groove quickly. I haven't been to BookCon since 2017, but it's such a good time. The line up looks great too. I am sure you and your daughter will have an amazing time. Thanks for sharing my post. XOXO
ReplyDeleteI remember being a young kid and my parents dragging me to see Eddie Rabbitt in concert. That is a great song by him though. I don't listen to much country now but my parents listened to it all the time when I was growing up. Congrats on going to BookCon! Hope you have a blast!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have your aunt moving closer to you. And Bookcon sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteMary! Have so much fun at Bookcon! I am glad that you're aunt will be closer to you.
ReplyDeleteI've been awesome! I hope you have fun at Bookcon and I'm looking forward to reading your posts this week :)
ReplyDeleteBook on sounds exciting, we don’t have those sorts of events here so I’m jealous.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week
That is nice your Aunt will live close to you. Hope you had a good family time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out on Twitter! I totally agree, vacations are too short! I hope you enjoy your trip to see fall foliage! I love doing that!
ReplyDeleteI'll be reading The Summer Retreat soon, and I LOVED The Kiss Quotient! Happy reading! :)
wow sounds like an eventful week! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hopping around to all my posts yesterday! I enjoyed the Kiss Quotient and hope you do too! I watched every episode of All My Children since it started when I was quite young and much of General Hospital. When I first got out of grad school I loved only about 3 blocks from work. Some of my co-workers were fans of AMC, so when Tad and Dixie got married we went to my house to watch it over lunch. I served a buffet lunch with wedding cake. I used to tape it and at one point I would watch the tapes while riding my exercise bike the next morning. Ah the good old days.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week! Happy reading!
