I make cookies and cupcakes with the grandchildren for St. Patrick's Day.

ReplyDeletenope, sorry , no celebration here, but when the kids were young and they had dress up days in school, you bet your bottom we had all sorts of things from the dollarama store for them to wear (plus their riders jerseys)

ReplyDeletewhen the kiddos where home we did. with the traditional dinner. lots of green around for a week leading up to St Paddies Day. One year i cooked bacon and eggs for the kids before they left for school and i made the eggs green and the orange juice green (that looked sickly, LOL). they would not touch either. They grabbed a couple of pieces of fruit on the way out the door. LOL that was an experience.

St. Patrick's day is an Irish Thanksgiving for us. We go all out and cook a bunch of food and have friends over. :)

ReplyDeleteMy husband Patrick who is 50% Irish was born on St. Patrick's Day. We always celebrate St. Patrick's Day. This year took our twin grandchildren to the St. Patrick's Day parade and a big party downtown afterwards. Rosanne
